The USS Salem is a former Navy cruiser that is now a museum ship. The ship is open to the public for those who are interested in taking a look around. The ship once served as a hospital after the 1953 Ionian Earthquake and there are many spirits that are believed to linger. Ghost tours are offered regularly and there's even a paranormal society that has its headquarters on-board the ship! During Halloween, it is also created into a Haunted House and it has been featured on an episode of the TV show Ghost Hunters.
