Email Verified The best!
We absolutely loved Fear Town! We went in October of 2022 and had such a blast! There were individual attractions/ houses to go in and the lines weren’t long. My Daughter ran so fast out of the attraction from the guy with the chainsaw! Would highly recommend!

Email Verified Pretty awesome
Pretty awesome. The level of scary was reasonable and the storyline was great. The walk from one building to another was not easy. Gave us tons of chills and thrills.

Really creepy
Really loved it! We spend around 45 minutes and it is one of the longest haunts compared to others in this area. The atmosphere was really creepy, the actors were amazing and their costumes were also good. The Crematory had lots of scary moments and was fun to solve puzzles and escape. The Possession was a twenty minute interactive horror experience. Overall a great experience and will surely be back!

Eclectic mix
Fear, fun and adventure. You will find this eclectic mix at Fear Town. It was a Sunday night and we did have long hours of wait in the lines. It was well worth anyways for the kind of experience we got from the haunts. I was amazed. Trail and haunted buildings were very well put together. There were tons of actors doing the roles and supporting the scares. We were easily scared. You guys did a great job. Can't wait for next year.

Email Verified t was the BEST time I've had at a haunt
I did the regular haunt and the full contact night. It's well worth the money. The full contact night wasn't as scary as I thought it would be, it was more graphic and more interactive. I loved how they really put work into making you apart of the scare scene, or make it seem you've gone missing to your friend. It was the BEST time I've had at a haunt. The actors and props are amazing, and they put their all into making it an amazing haunt. I will be a frequent flyer.

Lots of fun and scares
We had lots of fun and scares for the season. The trail from one run down building to the other was like an adventure filled horror movie. It really wasn’t easy. Wait time was not bad for the weekend.

Fucking Amazingly great Fun and scares!
By Far the BEST character involvement interactive amazing non stop entertainment I have EVER experienced! I couldn't have even fathomed how amazing the attraction would be. I loved the Extreme Fears nights! I love how they get so involved! I love how you get separated but make it back to your group when you LEAST expect it! Always on my toes with every twist, corner, crawl space or turn. Character involvement in the very much building to an overly anticipated enterance to the attraction long line with several groups of individuals so eagerly to he inside the Fear Town Experience!!!! I wish I knew about this sooner!

Worth every penny
Really nice, it gives us a good scary and funny experience. My 13-year-old son became a great fan of Fear Town and he is very much excited to visit it again. The haunted house has been really thrilling and scary. Every room was different and it became very much thrilling on the walk-through thinking what would happen in next rooms. Very well worth every penny.

Email Verified Scariest
This is one of the greatest and scariest haunts I have ever been! Went with my family and we had a blast. The atmosphere is well suited for a haunted house and the decors were excellent. We surely will be back.

Breathtaking views
They took us through several haunted buildings. They were all old and dilapidated. It gives you the creeps as you enter. You can feel the movement and hear the creaks and noises of stepped on woods and as the monsters take a plunge. We took to our heels to the safety of the next building. But they had much more in store for us. I had an awesome time taking in the breathtaking views they had in each building.

Amazing experience
Had an amazing experience! Went with my friends and we really had a blast! Had to wait sometime for tickets but the experience was really worth it! We spend around one hour in the haunt. The actors were just awesome, their scares especially the jump scares were really creepy. The possession haunt was great with good scares and fun. Lots of scare were hiding throughout and some made us screaming like little children. The tickets rates were also very much fairer.

Brilliant!!
Lovely time at Fear Town. I was there with my family. My teenage kids were so much amused. It was like an adventure for them. We had to traverse on foot outdoors and indoor over uneven terrain. Please wear a proper footwear before you take the plunge. The journey was terrifying and we had so many obstacles. The actors were simply brilliant. Each scene was essayed to perfection. 5 stars.

Email Verified Totally worth it
Love it and totally worth it. This could probably be the longest haunted house I have been to so far. It was completely outdoor and quite massive. Heavily wooded forest and in addition the darkness made it very challenging. Actors knew their job very well and acted upon every single opportunity. This made it quite enjoyable.

Email Verified Guillotine Room will make you numb
The 45 minutes’ walk through the house was incredible. The character Birdman was outstanding. The Crazy Straight Jacket Girl scared us a lot. The Palm Reader Girl was my friend’s favourite. The Priest was frightening too. The Dreadlock Clowns scared the crap out of us. Guillotine Room had the gore to make you numb. Costumes and makeups were perfect. I will come again with family.

Screamed multiple times
One of the best haunted attractions I have been to this Halloween. Went with my wife and we had a blast. The Hillbillies scared us a lot. The character Crazy Mechanic was terrifying too. The leather clad clown at the end of the show scared my wife and she started to scream. Overall, the sets, props and decorations were spot-on. We had a great time there. A family friendly place. Scare lovers should visit this place.

Email Verified Exorcist girl & Guillotine Room was horrifying
I with my friends went to the Fear Town haunted attraction. I think a lot of effort and thought has been gone into the design of this haunted house. The Exorcist girl was really frightening. The experience in Guillotine Room was horrifying to say the least. For me, the scariest character was the pig man. The green smokes as well as the laser rays were fascinating to watch. You never know what's coming next! Definitely going again and bringing more friends.

Email Verified Freaky! Resembled one horror movie
Wow... magnificent haunt! The atmosphere resembled one horror movie. The Psycho Clowns scared my friends and one of them even started running. The Church People had some creepy ones among them. The chain saw guy was terrifying too. Most of the actors were very freaky. Overall, it was a mind blowing visit. Highly recommended.

Over hyped haunt
Another over-hyped, over-publicized haunted attraction. The scares were mostly cheesy and felt very ordinary. Stuffing up the place with so many actors wouldn’t help, especially when most of them seem clueless and naïve. We were very much let down by the whole place. I’m sure the people who have travelled a long distance to get here might also have felt the same, if not frustrated.

Not a great experience
Not a great experience. We were grouped along with another gang and they made sure we had lost all the fun. It was not at all scary. The group in front faced all the haunts and screamed to the fullest leaving nothing at all for us. It was poor crowd management. The music was loud and we could not hear the instructions. Highly disappointed.

Incredibly scary
Fear Town was a quite intense haunt and I highly recommend this to anyone who loves to have great interactive haunt experience. It took us more than an hour to complete which was worth all the money and time. By the end of it we were totally exhausted and still raring to go. The haunts were very well planned and had a tight storyline that got us hooked. They made us do all the crazy stuffs which were scary as well as funny. It was an awesome night and incredibly scary.

Email Verified Amazingly interactive haunt
Amazingly interactive haunt. Had fantastic fun watching people freak out and scream out of panic. It is a huge outdoor haunted attraction in the deep woods. The walkthrough attraction took us on a terrifying journey in and out of dilapidated buildings. Actors were committed throughout to scare you all through the trail. The monster makeover was great, it had a professional touch. Love to come back again.

Email Verified Can't wait to come back next year!
This is my second year here and it did NOT disappoint. Amazing scares, the actors were fantastic, pushing the boundaries of your personal space without touching you, makeup was amazing and they navigate secretly and silently between scares. This is incredibly well done and I was solidly scared many times throughout the whole thing. Can't wait to come back next year!

Email Verified Feartown is truly an experience
You don't just go through a haunted house, you start out there but you end up wandering through the woods, a church, a farm, an auto repair shop, and getting lost in dark foggy mazes and terrorized by monsters with all kinds of makeup and props, such as real chainsaws. They'll follow you, mock you, leap out in front of you, and bang on the walls to freak you out. At one point you're sent on your hands and knees into the "meat grinder."The makeup and costuming is impressive, as well as the small attentions to details. If you find yourself getting scared, look at the ground, walls, and facades to see the extra touches of decoration that went into everything. On one of the facades you can faintly see the face of a skull in the black swirling. It is clear that these actors, makeup artists, and the set decorators are all very passionate about what they're doing, which makes the experience all the better.

Keeps getting better and better
Fear Town just keeps getting better year after year. The owner's life long passion for Halloween and Haunted Attractions is clearly displayed in this creation. You will not find a better haunted house anywhere in Massachusetts, and I would argue that Fear Town is the best attraction of its size in New England. I am thoroughly impressed with how well it stands out, even up against nearby competitors with unlimited budgets. The theming, scenery, acting, ambiance, lighting, everything contributes to the total experience and keeps you on edge, believing you have actually become a part of Fear Town. The actors and actresses, in particular, are extremely talented and interactive. Each one had a different style, from startling to unsettling and creepy, to a full performance.Lastly, every one of your senses are triggered, and the attraction uses the perfect dose of confusion and disorientation to twist your perception of reality.Fear Town is a must see haunted attraction, and makes for an excellent fun and scary night out.

Email Verified Looking Forward to Going Back!
I'm itching for fall so I can start my New England Haunt tour. Last year was my first time at Fear Town. Really long walk through and some awesome scares. This one feels like there was so much more effort put into it rather than some of these more commercialized places. The actors were super into it and the makeup jobs were amazing!

Best new haunt
Had lots of fun. Obviously low budget, but a very creepy, original layout and more high energy scares than any other New England haunt that I've been to.

Excellent new haunt
OK, before I start the review, I should warn you (for those who don't bother reading the FAQ section of the website), wear clothes that you don't care about. YOU WILL GET DIRTY!For those who don't to read the whole review, a short summary is at the very bottom. You start off in (what I can only describe as), the independent horror movie version of a "traditional haunted house".Room to room bloodstains, jump scares, creepy kids, drop doors, and a few interesting surprises. Then, a walk through the woods. Tension builds as you go from dark areas, to dimly lit areas and strobe lit areas. You walk slowly, worried about what's around the next turn. Sometimes nothing, sometimes a psycho in a ghillie suit comes out of the trees.Homicidal maniacs, banging on barrels, staring intently, is your head next?I love how they let you walk for a minute or two without a scare from time to time. Building tension between scares is a lost art. Too many haunts these days throw pop-scare after pop-scare at you every 6 seconds. At the end of this long and frightening path, a hillbilly with long hair and a dirty face stops you at the fence, greets you, talks to you, and then you hear animalistic screams. "MORE FOOD!" "FRESH MEAT!" "COME TO PAPAW!"And he tells you that means his family is done cleaning the meat grinder and they're ready for you.As you walk toward a barn, a hay bale drops, stopping just short of your head. As you look up to figure out what's dropping above you and see it's just a bale of hay on a rope, an insane looking man in a straw hat runs at you, screaming. You walk into the barn, and a bit of the wall (which turns out to be a door) slams open, and a very large man - who looks like he really did eat the last group that came through - starts talking about torturing you to "tenderize the meat".I won't ruin the next surprise, but let's just say when you meet "Papaw", you're gonna get dirty.Claustrophobics, beware, they have no sympathy for you. And really, why should they? What makes your paralyzing fear so special? Some people feel the same way about clowns, as you feel about small spaces. But they still have to deal with clowns if they go to a haunted house with clowns in it. Even if they yell "Leave me alone! I have Coulrophobia", the clowns will continue to follow them.Sorry, I was annoyed, I got stuck behind a group of four people, all of which claimed to be claustrophobic, and refused to..... well ... you'll see if you go...... anyway, them being pains in the neck held up the rest of us. After you leave the barn, you'll go through the "private family cemetery", then a dark creepy room with red lasers, and then you'll come to a yard with a trailer in it.I can not prepare you for the person you meet at the trailer. But say hello to Ellie Mae for me ;)After that is the garage, and - when you get out of it - one more "surprise".Lots of fun, and more scare for less money than any other haunt in New England. Get on it!! Short summaryCreepy indie horror flick version of a traditional haunted house.Suspenseful trail in the woods.Barn full of cannibal hillbillies.Lots of fun surprises.20-30 minute walk through for only 14 bucks!! And, I've heard there are 2 dollar off coupons kicking around the Southeastern MA and Northern RI area.
