Old Yarmouth Inn - Real Haunts in Yarmouth MA

This inn dates back to 1696 and is the oldest on Cape Cod. Many believe the property is haunted and one witnesses claimed they saw an apparition that appeared at the foot of their bed in 1999. The ghost was described as a jowly man wearing a flounced white blouse. In 2002, another witness claimed that a ghost sat on his bed and shook the bedposts. Appliances and lights have turned on by themsleves, objects have moved on their own and members of the wait staff claim to have heard their names being whispered by something or someone unseen.
