Howden Farm is located just 4 miles north of Canaan, Connecticut and just 3 miles south of Sheffield, Massachusetts. From the north: Drive south on Route #7 from the center of Sheffield. At the fork, 1.7 miles below Sheffield, take Route 7A and then take your first right hand turn onto Rannapo Road. We are the first place on the left. From the Boston area and the east: Take the Mass Pike west to exit #2 Lee and then take Route 102 west to Stockbridge where you turn left onto Route #7 at the Red Lion Inn and then south to Sheffield and then follow the directions above "From the north". From the Albany area and west: Take the Mass Pike east to exit #2 Lee and then follow the directions above "From Boston and the east". From Hartford: Take Route #44 to the light in the center of Canaan CT. Then take route #7 north to the Police Barracks in Canaan. Just north of the the Police Barracks there are two left hand turns close together with a pizza place in the middle, take the second left "Ashley Falls Road" and proceed to the cross roads in the center of Ashley Falls, MA. Turn left onto Rannapo Road in front of the Ashley Falls Post Office. Proceed to #303 Rannapo Road which will be two miles on the right. From New York City: Take the West Side Highway to the Saw Mill River Parkway to the Taconic Parkway to Milbrook, Route #44 and proceed east on #44 to Canaan, CT. Then follow the directions above "From Hartford".
